REMINGTON ~ 870 MAGNUM WINGMASTER ~ 12 GAUGE

Remington 870 Magnum Wingmaster 12 Gauge Short Barrel Conversion Remington 870 Magnum Wingmaster pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. This customized example has an 18.5-inch shortened vent-rib barrel, black synthetic stock and forearm, and an overall length of approximately 39 inches. The shortened barrel gives the shotgun a compact, quick-handling profile. The original vent rib remains in place, although the rib terminates at the muzzle and no front bead is currently installed. Because the barrel was shortened, the original muzzle choke constriction has been removed and the bore should be treated as approximately cylinder bore unless it has been professionally reworked and measured. The shotgun is fitted with a textured black synthetic forearm and matching pistol-grip-style field stock. A ventilated recoil pad provides additional comfort, while the steel receiver, dual-action-bar pump system, cross-bolt safety, and tubular magazine retain the familiar Model 870 operating design. This shotgun is in good condition with visible handling and operational wear. The receiver and barrel retain most of their dark finish with scattered scratches and finish loss. The carrier shows heavier finish wear and a small area of oxidation. The synthetic furniture remains serviceable with visible handling marks. The barrel should be professionally inspected to confirm that the muzzle is square, free of burrs, and concentric with the bore. Barrel length should also be verified from the closed bolt face to the muzzle before transfer or publication.
