The Nylon 66 is, arguably, the first of the "plastic" guns. At one point DuPont owned Remington and wanted to experiment with guns as a new market. Remington requested, and received, a material that was stable, and strong. The success of the Nylon 66 paved the way for the acceptance of plastic guns going forward. This one is the Mohawk Brown variant. It shows use in the form of scratches and a bit of rust. The parting lines appear solid.
