This Remington Rand M1911A1 in .45 Auto remains in good to very good overall condition. The serial number (1898565) indicates it was manufactured in 1944. There is an "FJA" stamp near the slide release lever, the inspector stamp for Col Frank J. Atwood during WWII. There is some blue loss consistent with a pistol of this era. There are also some scratches on the sides of the frame and slide. The bore is bright and shiny with distinct rifling. Two panel checkered grips. No box. One (1) magazine is included but does not appear to be factory original.
