REMINGTON ~ 788 ~ .223 REM

The Model 788 was developed as a "price point" rifle to compete with the low-end market. It features a 9-lug rear locking bolt with a 68 degree lift. The price point is met by economies due to the bolt design as well as a hardwood stock with a raised comb, and no cheek piece. This one is in great condition, with no obvious defects. It will be a great light varmint or pest control gun.
