Description
The Savage Arms AXIS XP in 223 Remington is a bolt-action centerfire rifle intended for hunting and general shooting. It is sold as a bundle with a factory-mounted, bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope, so it is ready to use without separate sight setup. The rifle has a matte black finish, a right-hand action, and a 22-inch barrel with an overall length of 42.5 inches.
The rifle weighs 7.6 pounds and is built with a carbon steel action and barrel. It uses a detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds. The stock has enhanced texturing and an updated pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells, and the bolt handle has a redesigned ergonomic shape to improve control in rain or cold weather.
