Remington Sportsman 58 12 Gauge Semi-Auto Shotgun with Extra IC Barrel

This Remington Sportsman 58 chambered in 12 Gauge is a classic American semi-automatic shotgun that remains a solid choice for both hunters and collectors. This example is in good overall vintage condition, showing moderate expected handling and finish wear consistent with age, while retaining an attractive appearance with nicely figured wood furniture. Included with the shotgun is an extra barrel choked Improved Cylinder (IC), adding versatility for different hunting and shooting applications. Introduced in 1956, the Remington Sportsman 58 was the economy version of the Model 58 and was one of Remington's early gas-operated semi-automatic shotguns. Produced from 1956 through 1963, the Sportsman 58 earned a reputation for reliable operation and soft recoil, helping pave the way for later Remington autoloaders such as the iconic Model 1100.
