For your consideration, the Remington "The Sportsman" semi-auto shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. The Sportsman is a modified Model 11 with a shorter magazine tube for waterfowl hunting. Similar to a Browning A5 in appearance and the Model 11 being the first American made semi-auto shotgun was essentially a licensed copy of the Auto-5 made by FN. Based on the serial and barrel code, manufactured in August of 1937.
