Description
The Reptilia DOT Mount is a red dot mount for the Aimpoint ACRO P-1, ACRO C1, ACRO P-2 and Steiner MPS optics. It attaches to a standard M1913 Picatinny rail and positions the optical axis 1.93 inches above the rail, a height chosen for compatibility with these specific sights.
The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard anodized finish in Flat Dark Earth. The spring-loaded clamp and mounting bolt are made from nitrided 4140 steel and sit flush with the body of the mount for a low-profile profile. The mount weighs 2.11 ounces.
Installation requires only a Picatinny rail with sufficient space for the mount. The mount is listed as made in the USA.
