Description
The Reptilia DOT Mount is a slim, lightweight mounting base for compact red dot optics on AR-15 platforms. It attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail and is designed to provide a lower 1/3 co-witness with standard AR-15-style back-up iron sights.
The mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard anodized finish in black. It weighs 51 grams. A spring-loaded nitrided 4140 steel clamp and mounting bolt sit flush with the body of the mount, giving a low-profile, anti-snag profile and simplifying installation.
The DOT Mount is listed as compatible with Aimpoint Micro T-1, T-2, H-1, H-2 and R-1 optics, Sig Sauer ROMEO4 and ROMEO5, Vortex Crossfire and Sparc I and II, Primary Arms SLx models, and Holosun HS403, HS503, HS504 and HS515 optics.
