Description
The Reptilia DOT Mount Lower 1/3 Co-Witness is a scope base designed to mount a Trijicon MRO red dot sight on an M1913 Picatinny rail. It is a slim, low-profile mount intended to keep the optic close to the rail and allow lower 1/3 co-witness with standard AR-15-style back-up iron sights.
The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a black Type III hardcoat anodized finish and weighs 1.5 ounces. A spring-loaded nitrided steel clamp and mounting bolt sit flush with the body of the mount, which keeps the profile compact and reduces snag points. Its design is intended for the Trijicon MRO.
