Description
The Reptilia ROF-45 is an offset one-piece optic mount that adds a 45-degree (1:30 o'clock) mounting point for a Trijicon RMR red dot sight alongside a magnified scope. It is designed as a drop-in replacement for the Geissele 34mm Super Precision mount, giving the shooter a quick transition to a non-magnified optic for close-range target engagement.
The mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with a MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodized finish in Flat Dark Earth. It weighs 0.95 ounces, or about 27 grams. Its offset geometry keeps each optic close to the host scope's centerline while leaving enough clearance that the sight picture is not obscured.
The RMR can be zeroed separately for subsonic cartridges such as .300 AAC Blackout, while the magnified optic is reserved for supersonic ammunition.
