Description
The Riley Defense RAK47 Side Folder is a semi-automatic AK-platform rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. It is built as a Riley Defense version of the classic AK-47 design, with a closed-bolt action and a mil-spec stamped receiver.
The rifle features a 16.25-inch barrel with a 4150 nitride finish and a threaded muzzle, giving an overall length of 37.25 inches. Front and rear sights are both adjustable. The receiver and trunion are forged and heat treated, and the black oxide finish is applied over the metal. The stock is solid teak wood, with teak upper and lower handguards and a plastic pistol grip.
The rifle uses a 30-round magazine. The raw listing gives an effective range of 350 yards and a maximum range of 1000 yards.
