Riverside Arms Shotgun (SOLD AS IS), 12 Gauge, 34″ Barrel

The Riverside Arms Co. single-shot break-open shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with an extra-long 34" barrel is a historic, utilitarian firearm manufactured primarily between 1914 and 1930. Riverside Arms was an economy house brand utilized by the J. Stevens Arms & Tool Company (and later its parent company, Savage Arms). Configurations featuring an authentic 34" factory barrel are colloquially known by collectors as "Long Toms," built primarily for waterfowl hunting or farm use where the extended barrel length helped maximize black-powder and early smokeless-powder burn efficiencies.
