Rosco Husky 11.5" 5.56 NATO 1:7 Twist Chrome Lined Carbine Barrel

Rosco Husky AR Barrel Features The Rosco Husky Barrel takes its cue from the classic SOCOM 11.5 profile while refining the contour to better manage heat and reduce barrel whip during sustained fire. Chrome moly vanadium steel construction provides strength and heat resistance suited to a short carbine-length barrel pushed hard in rapid strings of fire. A chrome lined chamber and bore extend the barrel s service life by resisting the wear that comes from repeated firing and cleaning. Button rifling with a 1:7 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights from lightweight varmint loads to heavier match projectiles. Despite the robust Husky profile this barrel adds only a few ounces over Rosco s lighter Bloodline 11.5 barrel keeping a short-barreled AR-15 build maneuverable. The phosphate finish protects the exterior from corrosion while giving the barrel a traditional matte look. A 1/2x28 thread pattern at the muzzle accepts standard muzzle devices compensators or suppressors. For AR-15 builders assembling a compact carbine that still needs to handle sustained use the Rosco Husky 11.5-inch barrel offers a dependable heat-managing option.
