Description
The Rossi R95 Trapper is a lever-action rifle chambered in .44 Magnum, built for brush hunting, truck gun use and home defense. It combines a compact 16.5-inch barrel with a Picatinny rail on the receiver for optics and adjustable drift front and buckhorn rear sights for traditional aiming.
The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 for suppressor use and has a 1:12 right-hand twist with six-groove rifling. The action is a lever action with a crossbolt safety and an 8-round capacity. The receiver and barrel are finished in black oxide over alloy steel and steel construction, and the fixed polymer stock keeps the rifle at 6.7 pounds with an overall length of 35.5 inches.
The rifle is supplied with the sights and rail noted above. Angled texturing on the stock aids handling.
