Specifications
Description
The RS Regulate AK-300 Front Biased Lower is a side-mount scope base for AKM-pattern rifles. It attaches to the factory side rail found on Russian, Bulgarian and Romanian AKM rifles, as well as Saiga and WASR-pattern rifles, and pairs with a compatible upper to form an optic mounting solution without altering the receiver.
The mount is machined from aluminum and finished in a matte black coating. Its front-biased design positions the Picatinny rail forward on the receiver, which may affect eye relief depending on the optic and mounting position. It clamps onto the side rail and requires no drilling, welding or permanent modification. The unit weighs 2.88 ounces.
It is not intended for AKR or AKOG modular uppers and is not compatible with VEPR or FIME Vepr-FM rifles equipped with a folding stock.
