Ruger Mark II Pistol, .22 Long Rifle, 5.5 inch Barrel

The Ruger Mark II Target featuring a 5.5-inch bull barrel (famously cataloged under factory model numbers MK-512 for blued steel and KMK-512 for stainless steel) is one of the most successful and legendary .22 LR rimfire pistols ever produced. Manufactured between 1982 and 2005, the Mark II generation refined Bill Ruger's classic 1949 German Luger-style design by adding a last-round bolt hold-open latch, recessing the slide ears, and bumping the magazine capacity to 10 rounds. The 5.5-inch heavy bull barrel profile is widely considered the "sweet spot" for balancing front-heavy stability with portable field weight.
