Bringing an affordable 5.7x28 pistol to market, Ruger introduced the Ruger-5.7 in late 2019, being one of the first large firearms companies to release a handgun chambered in the infamous high-velocity cartridge beyond its creator, Fabrique Nationale (FN). The Ruger-5.7 borrows much from the FN Five-seveN pistol, with the same magazine capacity of 20+1 rounds, and the single-action hammer-fired ignition system. But, the Ruger pistol does have a smaller grip all-around, with slimmer profile from side-to-side and shorter grip front-to-back. The Ruger pistol is also drilled and tapped to accept optic plates, available separately from Ruger, and has a large window cut in the top of the slide for faster, more reliable cycling. This unit for sale is in very good conditionalmost in like-new condition. The barrel and internals are clean and in excellent condition and the pistol includes the original hard case, two 20-round magazines, cable lock, chamber flag, user manual, and extra paperworkall the add-ons included in a gun bought in new condition. The only flaw with this gun is that one corner on the front of the trigger guard seems to have been melted somehowlikely accidentally. Beyond this one flaw, the gun is, again, in perfect condition.
