Description
The Ruger Mark IV Target is a blued steel semi-auto pistol chambered in 22 LR, built for target shooting and training. It is the latest evolution of Ruger's original 1949 Standard Auto Pistol and uses a one-piece fully machined grip frame, a simple take-down mechanism for disassembly and cleaning, and an ambidextrous manual safety.
The pistol has a 5.5-inch heavy bull barrel, adjustable rear sights, and a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style optic rails. It weighs 2.24 pounds and uses a 10-round magazine with a magazine disconnect that prevents the trigger from being pulled when the magazine is removed.
