Description
The Ruger Mark IV Target is a semi-automatic 22 LR pistol built for target practice, competition and recreational plinking. It keeps the cylindrical receiver and bolt design of the original Ruger Mark I while adding a one-button takedown that separates the barrel-receiver assembly from the grip frame without tools for quick field stripping and cleaning.
The pistol has a 10-inch barrel with a cold hammer-forged rifling process and an internal cylindrical bolt for consistent sight-to-barrel alignment. It uses a blued finish, a fixed front sight with an adjustable rear sight, an aluminum receiver and a CNC-machined aluminum grip frame with checkered synthetic grips. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver or Picatinny rail mounts.
The magazine capacity is 10 rounds, and two 10-round magazines are included. The pistol is a right-hand design with an ambidextrous safety and a push-button magazine release.
