A modern-production cowboy gun, the Ruger New Vaquero is a single-action revolver made to fit the bill for shooters looking for a Western-style revolver with modern safety features and production methods. The New Vaquero uses a transfer bar mechanism to make the gun drop-safe. The revolver is made of stainless steel and polished to an attractive gloss. The barrel measures just over 4 ½" long and is cold hammer-forged for unmatched durability. True to a Western-style revolver, the New Vaquero has an integral rear groove sight with fixed blade front sight. The pistol features black plastic grip panels for a classy two-tone "tuxedo" appearance. This revolver is in excellent, lightly-used condition. The finish has no flaws and the cylinder and barrel show little wear. The fit and finish on this revolver is good and the lock and timing are very good. This New Vaquero includes the original hard plastic case, safety lock, user manual, and test-fired casings.
