Description
The Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit is a left-hand outside-the-waistband holster for compact handguns. It uses the GLS (Grip Lock System), which secures the pistol when holstered and releases it when the shooter applies pressure with the middle finger from a standard shooting grip. The holster body is made of SafariSeven, a lightweight synthetic nylon blend described as non-abrasive to a gun's finish and tolerant of extreme temperatures.
The holster is listed as fitting the Glock 19, Glock 19X, Glock 23, Springfield XDS 4.0, S&W SD9VE and S&W SD40VE, and is listed as adjustable to fit a wide range of firearms. Its finish is smooth and black. The included injection-molded paddle and adjustable belt loop allow carry with or without a belt, and the loop permits cross-draw wear.
The listed caliber is 40 S&W.
