SAKO ~ Riihimaki ~ L46 ~222 Remington ~ 1960 Production

This Sako Riihimaki L46 was manufactured around 1960, and is chambered for .222 Remington. The barrel is 24" with a hooded front sight blade that's dovetailed to a checkered ramped base. The left side of the receiver is marked "SAKO Riihimaki" and the serial number, "44734" and "34" with two Finnish proof marks. The right side of the receiver is marked "MADE IN FINLAND". The scope is mounted to the factory dovetail and marked "ALL-AMERICAN 10X / PERMA CENTER / LYMAN MADE IN U.S.A.". The top of the barrel shank is marked with two Finnish proof marks and "CAL..222.". The bottom of the bolt handle is marked "44734". The stock is a one-piece checkered walnut mannlicher with steel nose cap, barrel band with sling swivel, capped pistol grip, fluted straight comb with cheek-piece, sling swivel in the belly, and a serrated black synthetic Sako buttplate. Comes with a single factory magazine.
