Savage Axis 2 .400 Legend 20" Threaded Left Hand Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is chambered in .400 Legend and built around a user adjustable AccuTrigger letting a shooter set trigger pull weight anywhere from 2.5 to 6 pounds to match their personal preference. Thread in headspacing improves the consistency of the chamber to bolt face relationship contributing to tighter more repeatable accuracy from shot to shot. A 20 inch barrel finished in matte black carries a 1:16 twist rate matched to the .400 Legend cartridge and is threaded 11/16x24 for a muzzle brake or suppressor. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting giving hunters a straightforward path to adding an optic. An updated bolt handle features a sleek ergonomic design that enhances user control and comfort during operation particularly in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather when grip matters most. The stock includes a built in pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells giving both left and right handed shooters a comfortable secure hold. A detachable box magazine holds 4 rounds and feeds reliably through the action. Finished with an OD Green synthetic stock over a matte black metal finish and configured for left handed shooters the Savage Axis 2 delivers dependable performance for hunters chasing medium to large game with the .400 Legend cartridge.
