Savage Axis 2 350 Legend 18" Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is built around a precision button-rifled threaded 18 inch barrel chambered in .350 Legend with a 1:16 twist rate matched to the cartridge s bullet weights. The 5/8x24 thread pattern accepts muzzle devices or suppressors for shooters managing recoil on this straight-wall hunting cartridge. Thread-in headspacing improves consistency from rifle to rifle holding tight tolerances that a mass-produced bolt gun does not always deliver and the updated bolt handle design enhances control in adverse weather conditions when gloved hands and wet stocks make a smooth cycle harder to guarantee. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets shooters set pull weight anywhere from 2.5 to 6 pounds to match personal preference trading a factory-safe heavy pull for one dialed in to the individual behind the rifle. The OD Green fixed synthetic stock features enhanced texturing with a contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells built left-handed for southpaw shooters who often get overlooked by other manufacturers defaulting to right-hand-only production. An adaptable length of pull of 13.75 inches lets the rifle fit a range of shooters without aftermarket modification a meaningful advantage for a household rifle or a first gun for a growing hunter. The detachable box magazine feeds 4 rounds and drops free for quick reloads in the field keeping the rifle running during a fast follow-up shot on game. With a drilled and tapped receiver for mounting glass a two-position safety for quiet positive on-off control in a blind or stand and a rubber recoil pad to soften recoil from the .350 Legend cartridge this rifle is a complete ready to hunt left-hand package for straight-wall cartridge hunting seasons.
