Savage Axis 2 308 Win 20" Threaded Barrel OD Green Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is chambered in .308 Win a proven versatile cartridge trusted by hunters across a wide range of game and terrain. Its user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks between 2.5 and 6 lbs letting the shooter dial in a crisp pull to match their preference rather than settling for a heavy factory setting. The 20 barrel carries a 1:10 twist and a matte black finish over carbon steel with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for adding a suppressor or brake without a gunsmith visit. A rubber recoil pad helps absorb felt recoil during extended range time or a long day in the stand and the redesigned ergonomic bolt handle gives a more positive grip for fast confident follow-up shots in cold or wet conditions. The OD Green synthetic stock stands out from the standard black finish giving hunters a distinctive look in the field without sacrificing durability. Its fixed pistol grip design includes ambidextrous palm swells for a confident hold from either shoulder whether the shooter is right or left handed. The carbon steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optics keeping the rifle ready for a scope of the hunter s choosing straight out of the box. Feeding from a 4+1 detachable box magazine the rifle allows quick reliable reloads when a second shot matters most. At 6.7 lbs with a 13.75 length of pull the Savage Arms Axis 2 in .308 Win is a lightweight accurate hunting rifle built for shooters who want dependable performance with distinctive styling in the field.
