Description
The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP Combo is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .243 Winchester, sold as a bundle with a factory-mounted 3-9x40mm scope. It is aimed at shooters who want a practical, all-purpose rifle for hunting and general use.
The 22-inch sporter barrel is carbon steel with a 1:9.25 twist rate and a matte black finish. The trigger is Savage's AccuTrigger, adjustable from 2.50 to 6 pounds. The Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock is fixed and right-handed, and the rifle weighs 7.70 pounds with an overall length of 42.50 inches.
The rifle holds 4+1 rounds and is drilled and tapped for optics. It ships with no iron sights, so the included scope is the primary aiming device.
