Savage Axis 2 Compact XP 400 Legend 20" 4-Round Rifle With Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 Compact XP Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Compact XP is built on a bolt action chambered in .400 Legend a cartridge developed for straight-wall hunting regulations while still delivering solid terminal performance on deer and hogs. Its 20 inch barrel carries a 1:16 inch rate of twist matched to the cartridge s bullet weights for consistent accuracy at practical hunting ranges. The matte black metal finish resists corrosion and wear from repeated field use while the compact 39.5 inch overall length makes the rifle easier to maneuver in tree stands blinds or dense cover. A 2 position top tang safety gives the shooter quick intuitive control over the action. The Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock is scaled down for the compact platform giving smaller-framed or younger hunters a stock that fits without the bulk of a full-size rifle. Integral swivel studs allow a sling to be added without additional gunsmithing a practical touch for hunters covering ground on foot. A factory-mounted Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 scope comes standard saving the buyer both cost and the hassle of sourcing and mounting glass separately. At 7.4 pounds with a 4-round detachable box magazine the Savage Axis 2 Compact XP in .400 Legend is a complete ready-to-hunt package for sale at ARMSAGORA.
