Savage Axis 2 XP Wood 6.5 Creedmoor 20 Threaded Barrel 4-Rounds w/ 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Axis 2 XP centers on a precision button rifled 20 threaded barrel with a 1:8 twist rate a combination built to stabilize longer heavier bullets in 6.5 Creedmoor for consistent accuracy at extended range. The threaded muzzle allows shooters to add a suppressor or muzzle device without a gunsmith visit extending the rifle s versatility beyond the box. A user adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a crisper lighter pull than a typical factory trigger which translates directly into better shot placement in the field. The detachable box magazine holds 4 rounds and allows quick reloads between shots on follow up opportunities at game. Handling comes from an ergonomic hardwood stock with enhanced texturing at the grip areas giving a secure hold in wet or cold hunting conditions. The contoured pistol grip includes ambidextrous palm swells so the rifle feels natural in either hand and an enhanced bolt handle design speeds up cycling between shots. The blued metal finish resists the elements while keeping a traditional classic appearance that pairs naturally with the wood furniture. Topped with a factory mounted and bore sighted 3-9x40mm scope the Savage Axis 2 XP arrives ready to head to the range or the deer stand right out of the box.
