Savage Arms Axis XP 6.5 Creedmoor 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Arms Axis XP Features The Savage Arms Axis XP is built around a precision button-rifled threaded 20 barrel with a 1:8 twist rate matched to heavier 6.5 Creedmoor bullets for improved long-range stability plus thread-in headspacing for consistent chambering. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or brake giving hunters options for reducing recoil and noise in the field. A two-position safety offers simple reliable operation and the drilled and tapped receiver holds the factory mounted 3-9x40mm Duplex scope securely for consistent point of impact. The enhanced ergonomic bolt handle improves control and comfort during cycling particularly in cold or wet weather. The black synthetic stock is fixed with a contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells providing a comfortable secure hold at a 13.75 length of pull for shooters of either hand. Ergonomic texturing on the stock further improves grip retention during fast follow-up shots at distant game. The detachable box magazine holds 4 rounds and allows for quick reloading in the field without a hinged floorplate to fumble with. At 7.6 lbs the Axis XP stays light enough for all-day carry on a hunt while delivering the long-range accuracy 6.5 Creedmoor shooters expect making it a complete ready-to-hunt rifle for sale at ARMSAGORA.
