Savage Axis XP Compact 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 4-Round Bolt Action Rifle with 3-9x40mm Scope

Savage Axis XP Compact Features The Savage Arms Axis XP Compact is loaded with features that deliver tack driving accuracy on every shot including a precision button rifled threaded barrel and thread in headspacing for consistent chamber dimensions. Its 20 barrel carries a 5/8x24 thread pattern beneath the threaded muzzle giving shooters the option to add a brake or suppressor without extra gunsmithing. The 1:8 twist rate is built for the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge stabilizing the heavier for caliber bullets that make the round popular for long range shooting. The two position safety offers a simple positive on and off function that stays reliable under field conditions. The enhanced bolt handle uses a sleek ergonomic design that improves user control and comfort during operation especially in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather. A shortened 12.75 length of pull and 39.5 overall length make this Compact model a natural fit for smaller statured or younger hunters who find full size rifles cumbersome. The black synthetic stock is fixed with a pistol grip and keeps total weight to 7.5 lbs while the drilled and tapped matte black carbon steel receiver stands ready for additional optics work later. Paired with the factory mounted 3-9x40mm Duplex scope the Savage Arms Axis XP Compact in 6.5 Creedmoor is a complete ready to hunt package for sale at ARMSAGORA.
