The Savage Arms AXIS 2 XP is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 270 Winchester and supplied as a left-hand combo with a factory-mounted 3-9x40 scope. It is intended for hunting, where the bolt-action design and adjustable AccuTrigger are aimed at consistent accuracy.

The rifle has a 22-inch barrel, a 4-round capacity, a matte green finish, and a redesigned stock with enhanced texturing. The updated bolt handle is shaped for user control and comfort in rain or cold weather.
