Savage Axis 2 XP Wood .350 Legend 18 Threaded Barrel 4-Rounds LH w/ Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Axis 2 XP pairs a precision button-rifled barrel with 5/8x24 threading giving hunters the option to add a muzzle brake or suppressor to manage recoil from the .350 Legend cartridge. The 1:16 twist rate is matched to this straight-walled round s typical bullet weights helping stabilize projectiles for consistent accuracy at hunting distances. An enhanced bolt handle design gives a more positive ergonomic grip during cycling while the blued metal finish protects the action against the elements. The AccuTrigger s user-adjustable design lets each shooter dial in the exact pull weight they prefer translating directly into tighter more consistent groups. The hardwood stock brings classic styling together with enhanced texturing at the grip and forend for confident handling in wet or gloved conditions. Its contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells accommodates shooters of either hand orientation and this particular build ships configured for left-hand shooters. A detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds allows quick reloads in the field and the rifle ships already topped with a factory mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope. That combination gets left-hand hunters shooting sooner in states that require straight-walled cartridges without the added cost of sourcing a separate optic.
