Savage Axis 2 XP Wood .223 Rem 20 Threaded Barrel 4-Rounds w/ Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Axis 2 XP pairs a precision button-rifled barrel with 1/2x28 threading giving hunters the option to add a muzzle brake or suppressor to manage recoil and muzzle rise on fast-follow-up shots. The 1:9 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .223 Rem bullet weights so shooters can select loads suited to varmints or predators without sacrificing accuracy downrange. An enhanced bolt handle design gives a more positive ergonomic grip during cycling while the blued metal finish protects the action against the elements. The AccuTrigger s user-adjustable design lets each shooter dial in the exact pull weight they prefer translating directly into tighter more consistent groups. The hardwood stock brings classic styling together with enhanced texturing at the grip and forend for confident handling in wet or gloved conditions. Its contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells accommodates right and left-handed shooters alike making this rifle a versatile choice for households with more than one shooter. A detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds allows quick reloads in the field and the rifle ships already topped with a factory mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope. That combination gets varmint and predator hunters shooting sooner without the added cost or hassle of sourcing and mounting a separate optic.
