Savage Arms Impulse Core Hunter 6.8 Western 22" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Impulse Core Hunter Features The Savage Arms Impulse Core Hunter is built around Savage s straight-pull Impulse action which cycles the bolt with a simple back-and-forth push rather than a traditional rotating lift letting the shooter stay on target between shots. The carbon steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases so mounting glass is straightforward for the long-range hunting this rifle is built for. A 22 heavy sporter threaded barrel with a 1:10 twist rate is matched to the 6.8 Western cartridge stabilizing the heavier bullets that give the round its flat trajectory and retained energy downrange. The threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor giving hunters a way to manage recoil on a cartridge built for serious game. The Dark Gray AccuStock with AccuFit V2 system lets the shooter adjust length of pull and comb height to fit their own build improving cheek weld and consistency behind the optic. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 1.5 to 4 lb giving the shooter control over trigger feel without a trip to a gunsmith. At 8.2 lb and an overall length of 43.11 the rifle balances enough weight to tame recoil with a profile that still carries well on long hunts. With a 2+1 capacity and a stock built for precision in the field the Savage Arms Impulse Core Hunter is a purpose-built western big game rifle for sale at ARMSAGORA.
