Description
The Savage Mark II FV is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .17 HM2, built for small-game hunting, varmint control and target shooting at rimfire ranges. It is offered with a 21-inch heavy target barrel that is button-rifled and blued carbon steel, paired with a black synthetic stock featuring positive checkering.
The rifle weighs 6 pounds and measures 39.75 inches overall. It uses a five-round detachable magazine and an AccuTrigger, and it includes swivel studs for a sling. The rifling twist is 1 in 9 inches for .17 HM2 ammunition. Scope bases are installed, but no iron sights are included.
The Mark II FV ships without a scope, so buyers will need to mount optics of their own. Confirm ammunition is .17 HM2 before purchase, since this chambering is distinct from .17 HMR.
