Description
The Savage Model 1907 was a semi-automatic pocket pistol manufactured by the Savage Arms Company between 1907 and 1920, and later under license by Savage Arms Corporation until 1928. It was designed by Elbert Searle and chambered in .32 ACP. A key feature of the 1907 was its innovative double-stack magazine, allowing it to hold 10 rounds, a capacity greater than most other pocket pistols of the time. Key Features: Chamber: .32 ACP. Magazine: Staggered (double-stack) detachable box magazine with 10-round capacity. Design: Relatively compact and lightweight, designed for concealed carry. Safety: External rotating safety on the left rear of the frame. Sights: Fixed rear notch sight and front blade sight. Grip: Initially metal, later hard rubber grips. Operation: Semi-automatic, with recoil operating the slide, extracting, and ejecting the spent cartridge. No Screws: The Model 1907 did not use any screws in its construction, a notable feature for the time.
