For your consideration, the Savage model 1915 Hammerless chambered in .380 ACP. One of three variants, based the 1915 Hammerless is based on the 1907, and the 1917 produced later with a larger frame. These were derived from the .45 pistol Savage submitted to the US Army for trials which ultimately lost to the Colt 1911.
