Savage Axis 2 Pro Forest SP Camo LH .308 Win 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro pairs a spiral fluted threaded 20 inch carbon steel barrel with thread-in headspacing for a tight repeatable chamber fit shot after shot. Chambered in .308 Win the barrel and receiver share a Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish that resists corrosion and wear in wet cold hunting conditions. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle device and the fluting reduces weight while helping the barrel shed heat faster across a long day afield. The one-piece Picatinny rail on the receiver gives shooters a stable zero-shift platform for mounting glass suited to the terrain they hunt. The redesigned stock features enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for a secure hold in any weather. An adjustable length of pull lets the left-handed shooter dial in the fit of the rifle rather than adjusting their form to it and the Forest SP Camo finish helps the rifle disappear in wooded terrain. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks cleanly between 2.5 and 6 pounds giving hunters a crisp predictable release that builds confidence on a true shot. At 6.9 pounds with a detachable box magazine feeding the 4+1 capacity the Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro delivers a complete field-ready hunting package for left-handed shooters chasing big game with a .308 Win.
