Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro centers on a precision button-rifled spiral fluted barrel threaded 5/8x24 for suppressor or muzzle device use chambered in .308 Win for dependable hunting performance. Thread-in headspacing keeps the chamber precise and the Black Cerakote finish shared by the barrel and receiver resists corrosion through long seasons in wet or cold conditions. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .308 Win bullet weights keeping the rifle versatile from brush country to open fields. The Mossy Oak Original Bottomland finish on the fixed pistol-gripped stock helps hunters disappear into wooded and wetland terrain. Enhanced stock texturing and ambidextrous palm swells provide a secure grip in any weather while the adjustable length of pull lets the shooter dial in a comfortable repeatable cheek weld built specifically for left-handed use. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks cleanly for confident accurate shot placement when game presents itself.
