Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro Western LH 7mm-08 Rem 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro carries a precision button-rifled 20 barrel spiral fluted and finished with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for a brake or suppressor. The Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish covers the carbon steel barrel and receiver offering a durable coating that resists the elements in tough field conditions. A one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail sits atop the receiver for optic mounting and the two-position top tang safety keeps operation straightforward. Chambered in 7mm-08 Rem the rifle offers a flat shooting manageable recoiling cartridge well suited to deer and mid-size big game. The Savage Western Camo synthetic stock gives this left-hand rifle a finish built for open terrain and its fixed design with contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells keeps it steady and comfortable through a long day of hunting. The enhanced bolt handle design improves grip and control when cycling the action under pressure. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets a shooter dial the pull weight anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs for a cleaner more consistent break. At 6.9 lbs with a 40.5 overall length the Axis 2 Pro stays easy to carry afield making it a solid pick for left-handed hunters wanting a threaded camo rifle ready out of the box.
