Savage Axis 2 Pro 308 Win 20" Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro pairs a Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finished action with a spiral fluted threaded barrel chambered in 308 Win giving shooters a lighter weight rifle without sacrificing accuracy. The fluting cuts weight from the barrel while adding surface area that helps with heat dissipation during repeated firing. A one piece Picatinny rail is pinned to the receiver giving shooters a solid repeatable mounting platform for a scope of their choosing and the rifle is also marked as suppressor ready. A user adjustable AccuTrigger allows each shooter to dial in a pull weight between 2.5 and 6 pounds for a crisp personalized trigger break. The improved ergonomic stock features enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells finished in the Savage Woodland Camo pattern for a field ready appearance. An updated bolt handle delivers a sleek ergonomic design that improves control and comfort during operation especially in cold or wet weather. The heavy sporter contour barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and the rifle includes a steel trigger guard along with a rubber recoil pad to help manage felt recoil. At 6.9 pounds and built specifically for left handed shooters the Axis 2 Pro combines standout styling with the reliability Savage is known for.
