Description
The Savage A22 Target is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 WMR, built for target shooting and general plinking. It uses a delayed-blowback action intended to cycle reliably with the magnum cartridge.
The rifle has a 22-inch fluted heavy target barrel with button-rifled bore and a case-hardened receiver. The bolt is hard chrome plated with an oversized handle. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger is included, and the satin black finish is applied to a carbon steel construction. It weighs 7.08 pounds with an overall length of 41.5 inches and has no sights installed.
The stock is a gray wood-laminate thumbhole design. The rifle feeds from an 11-round capacity magazine, with the retailer noting a 10-round rotary magazine in its description. It is configured for a right-handed shooter.
