Savage Axis 2 XP Gray .25-06 Rem 20 Barrel 4-Rounds w/ Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP pairs a button-rifled threaded 20 barrel with a 1:10 twist rate suited to the flat-shooting .25-06 Rem cartridge giving hunters a reach appropriate for open terrain. The bolt action feeds from a 4+1 round detachable box magazine and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets a shooter dial in a crisp break anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs rather than living with a fixed factory pull. A two-position safety keeps operation simple in the field and the drilled and tapped receiver means the rifle is ready to mount additional optics setups if a hunter later wants to swap away from the factory glass. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle also opens the door to a suppressor or muzzle brake for hunters managing recoil or noise on public land. The Gray synthetic stock is molded with a fixed pistol grip and enhanced texturing for a secure hold in wet or cold conditions and ambidextrous palm swells make the rifle comfortable for right and left-handed shooters alike to carry all day. A rubber recoil pad softens the .25-06 s recoil impulse across a long day of sighting in or still hunting. The rifle ships factory mounted and bore sighted with a 3-9x40mm Duplex scope featuring fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments so there is no separate mounting or zeroing trip required before the first outing. At 6.7 lbs this Axis 2 XP is light enough for long treks into the backcountry while still delivering the accuracy hunters expect from Savage s redesigned Axis platform.
