Savage Arms AXIS II XP Compact 308 Winchester 20" Bolt Action Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

The Savage Arms AXIS II XP Compact is a bolt-action hunting rifle sold as a bundle with a factory-mounted 3-9x40 scope. It is chambered in 308 Winchester and built for hunters who want a shorter, handier rifle with out-of-the-box accuracy.

The rifle has a 20-inch barrel, a compact frame, a right-hand action and a synthetic stock in OD Green with a matte finish. The stock has enhanced texturing and an updated pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells. The bolt handle has a redesigned ergonomic shape for better control in rain or cold weather. The magazine holds 4 rounds. The scope is boresighted at the factory and adjusts for windage and elevation without tools.
