Simply insert the Bench Rest Follower in your magazine on top of the factory follower and spring. No gunsmithing required. It serves as a tray to hold the cartridge directly in line with the chamber for smooth, trouble free loading. Perfect for any serious target, varmint or silhouette shooter. Machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum. Note: Fits any type 98 Mauser actions, any caliber, standard or magnum. Will not fit those models of the Mark X that are fitted with a magazine insert for the smaller calibers.
