Description
This Sharps New Model 1863 was Cartridge Converted to 50-70 Government. The bore is very good with three grove rifling. There are a number of small unobtrusive cracks at the butt of the stock from over the years. The buttplate shows a recess for a patch box showing that the stock was likely replaced when the gun was Cartridge Converted.
