Description
The Shield Sights SMS2 Glass Edition is a 1X red dot sight in black, built for mounting on firearms that accept the Shield footprint. Its body is made of nylon glass-filled polymer, and it uses a red dot reticle for quick aiming at close to medium distances.
The glass lens carries an anti-reflective coating and the sight is rated IP67 for water resistance. It offers multiple brightness settings and runs on a single 3V lithium or CR2032 battery, with battery life listed at up to 20,000 hours in average daylight use on a CR2032. The sight supports co-witness with iron sights.
The Shield footprint accepts over 100 mounting options, so the sight can be fitted to a wide range of compatible platforms and mounts.
