Description
The Shooters Choice Bore Mop is a cotton cleaning mop for pistol bores, designed to hold solvent or lubricant and spread it evenly through the barrel before patches or a brush are run through. Saturating the bore this way helps loosen fouling and carbon buildup.
The mop head is 2 inches in size and densely packed with absorbent cotton. It is sized for 9mm, .38, .380 and .357 caliber barrels. The cotton is soft enough for repeated use without scratching the bore's interior, and the mop has an aluminum stem that will not mar the barrel.
The mop uses standard 8-32 threads and attaches to most common cleaning rods, so it fits existing cleaning kits without additional adapters.
