Sierra MatchKing 6mm .243 110 Grain HPBT 250 Count

Sierra MatchKing Features The Sierra MatchKing 110 grain 6mm bullet uses a sleek 27 caliber elongated ogive combined with a final meplat reducing operation known as pointing to raise the ballistic coefficient for improved wind resistance and velocity retention downrange. This shape helps the bullet buck crosswinds more effectively than a blunter design an important advantage at the extended distances match shooters engage. A precise bearing surface to ogive junction is machined at the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in match rifle chamber throats helping ensure consistent bullet to bore alignment shot after shot. That alignment consistency is a major contributor to the exceptional accuracy MatchKing bullets are known for around the world. Requiring a barrel twist rate of 1x7 inches or faster this 110 grain hollow point boat tail bullet is intended for reloaders building precision 6mm loads for competition or long range target work. Sierra notes that MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications since their design does not offer the same reliable explosive expansion as lighter jacketed varmint bullets at comparable velocities. Introduced in December 2016 bullet #1575 has since become a trusted option among reloaders seeking record setting accuracy. Packaged 250 to a box this MatchKing bullet gives serious handloaders the consistency needed to reach for tighter groups at distance.
